What is a Vascular Surgeon?

A vascular surgeon is a highly trained medical specialist who diagnoses, treats, and manages conditions that affect the body’s arteries and veins — the essential network of blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.

Unlike many other specialists, vascular surgeons are uniquely equipped to provide comprehensive care, offering everything from non-surgical management and minimally invasive procedures to traditional open surgeries. This means every patient receives a tailored approach that matches their specific condition and needs.

At Windsor Vascular Care, our mission is to help you maintain healthy blood flow, prevent serious complications, and improve your overall quality of life — whether that involves lifestyle changes, medication, or a procedure.

We offer a wide range of services to diagnose and treat vascular disease, including minimally invasive procedures, open surgery, and medical management. Our goal is to provide personalized care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Our Areas of Expertise

At Windsor Vascular Care, we welcome all types of vascular consultations, including concerns related to both arteries and veins.

Arterial Conditions: Such as aneurysms, peripheral artery disease (PAD), and carotid artery disease.

Venous Conditions: Such as varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Lymphatic Disorders: Including swelling and lymphedema management.

Preventive Vascular Health: Screening and management of vascular risk factors like diabetes, high blood pressure, and smoking.

While all surgeries and advanced interventions are performed at Windsor Regional Hospital, our clinic is specifically designed to focus on the management of venous and lymphatic disease, including office-based, minimally invasive procedures to treat varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
